Bride of Ash and Dust🌹🖤 by Meredith Hart Review

🚨 DISCLAIMER 🚨 I was sent an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. All thoughts and opinions are my own.  Bride of Ash and Dust by Meredith Hart was such a solid start to what I think is going to be a really addictive romantasy series. One thing that stood out right away was the chapter structure. Super short chapters with alternating POVs between the two main characters. At first, it threw off the pacing for me a bit. It felt a little too choppy, like the story couldn’t quite settle. But as the book went on, it definitely evened out. I genuinely don’t know how she pulled it off, but she did. The story weaves in so many recognizable elements from these inspirations without ever feeling overcrowded or overwhelming. The flow stays smooth, and the story never loses itself trying to do too much. That said, the pacing toward the ending felt a little off but not in a way that took away from the overall experience. This is what I’d call a solid vibes read. It’s perfect if you’re coming off a heavy fantasy or just need something lighter without sacrificing story. I actually read this be...
